What customers say?

“ It's close to my house, so I've been here many times. I'm grateful that they're flexible even if you don't make a reservation. The staff today were friendly, energetic, and pleasant. It was a cold day, so I had hot pot, but it would be even better if they had other dishes like mizutaki (chicken hot pot) instead of motsunabe. I definitely recommend trying the mustard lotus root ”

“ The food was delicious and the staff were kind and welcoming. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in Tokyo. ”

“ ●25th October - I came here for the first time. Of the many restaurants, this one just caught my eye. I wanted to eat fish, so this place is great. The food is good, the service is great, and you can have as many refills of soup and rice as you want. It's a style where you help yourself. I'd like to come again next time. ”

“ Just a three-minute walk from Shinagawa Station. I went to Necchuya, where you can enjoy fatty, live mackerel. The dishes I had: Fresh Bungo Mackerel Sashimi Miyazaki Chicken Nanban Hakata Motsunabe Appetizer (Assorted 3 Kinds of Spicy Pollack Roe) The mackerel, served in a tank and ready to eat, is incredibly fresh and has a crunchy texture. It's delicious with egg yolk soy sauce, and also as sesame mackerel. You can also ask the staff to deep-fry the bones. For mackerel lovers or those who want to eat it regularly, I recommend the Sabasuque menu. There are different menus available on different days of the week for a flat rate of 5,538 yen, so be sure to check it out. [Mackerel Sabasu] Monday → Live Bungo Mackerel Sashimi Tuesday → Assorted Live and Marinated Mackerel Wednesday → Hakata Sesame Mackerel Thursday → Live Bungo Mackerel Sashimi Friday → Seared Marinated Mackerel Saturday → Assorted Live and Marinated Mackerel Sunday → Hakata Sesame Mackerel A variety of other dishes, primarily Hakata cuisine, are also available, with the gyoza being a particular recommendation. ”

“ I stopped by here while on a business trip to Shinagawa. It's a Kyushu cuisine restaurant, so the appetizer includes a tasting of different types of mentaiko. I'd never tried Nakatsu fried chicken from Oita, so I ordered kibinago (silver-stripe round herring) and satsumaage (fried fish cakes), which I often ate when I lived in Kagoshima. They offer an all-you-can-drink plan. It wasn't too busy on a Monday, so it wasn't too crowded. ”

“ I went there with my bosses on a weekday Tuesday night! It's a little far from Shinagawa Station, so there were hardly any customers, but the food was so delicious that it felt like a shame to miss out. It's a restaurant that serves Kyushu cuisine, and the appetizer was three different types of spicy cod roe, which got the three of us super excited! We also ordered spicy lotus root, gyoza, and yakitori. The highlight was the mackerel sashimi, which they took out from the tank at the entrance, filleted, and served as ikizukuri! There were only three mackerel in the tank on the day we went, but they cooked it right after we ordered, and it looked beautiful, so it was great. The food was delicious, and it was quiet, although maybe just that day, lol. I don't want it to go out of business, so I'll definitely go back! ”

“ There seems to be an oddly large number of Kyushu restaurants around here, and once again the restaurant that happened to be open was serving Kyushu cuisine. Well, I love Kyushu cuisine so it wasn't a problem. The menu is very carefully selected, so there aren't many options, but it feels like a restaurant that has been carefully selected. They pull fresh fish straight from the fish tank and cook it for you, but they make the effort to show you how the fish you're about to eat is still alive, so I didn't order any, but when I saw the person next to me ordering it, I realized that it wasn't my type... The iron pot dumplings were delicious, and with the chicken skin they gave it a nice Kyushu feel. Overall it was a high-quality restaurant, and although I happened to be able to get in, it was unfortunate that there was a time limit. Reservations may be necessary. ”

“ I've lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years, but I'd only been here a few times until last year (2024). At that time, I was also looking for Bungo mackerel and iron pot gyoza. After that, I popped in by myself for some reason, and once again fell in love with the deliciousness of the mackerel. There's a counter, so it's easy to enter even if you're alone, and the staff will call out to you or leave you alone depending on the situation, judging by the situation. (Thank you, Hiiragi-kun, as always) The people in the hall and kitchen are really kind, so you can spend the same time as eating at home. (Thank you so much to the manager Megu-chan, the head chef Kana-chan, Yuka-chan, and all the other staff) One thing I'd like to mention is the "Okaeri Bottle" system. You can't drink it on the day, but you can buy a 4-cup bottle of shochu at almost cost price, provided that you drink it next time. It's a wallet-friendly system, whether you're drinking alone or in a group, so I recommend it. The appetizer is a platter of three kinds of spicy cod roe, so you can drink enough with just that. (Sorry to the staff (lol)) When it's cheap, you can drink with an appetizer, one snack, and rice for about 1,200 yen, or you can eat and drink luxuriously I've been coming here for about four months, and I'm on my 15th bottle now (lol) Thank you so much to all the staff for always providing me with a wonderful time I have more to write, but that's all for now. ■P.S. I take home the empty shochu bottles because I drew pictures on them, and they've finally taken up an entire shelf (lol) ■P.S. 2 (2025.5) I've finally reached my 20th bottle of welcome home (lol) It's nice to have your own bottle at the store It makes me feel at ease. You might think that drinking at home is more cost-effective, but I end up drinking too much at home, which ends up being bad value for money (lol). In that sense, I balance my drinking at home with drinking at restaurants Kyushu Necchuya Shinagawa Grand Passage LIVE is kind to me ■PS 3 (2025.7) You can now eat horse sashimi and chicken sashimi as a set Personally, I'm very happy with this assortment. ■PS 4 (2025.7) The reason I started going to Kyushu Necchuya Shinagawa Grand Passage LIVE last year was because the staff member Kana-chan taught me a lot about sweet potato shochu, which I wasn't very good at originally. Now it's become my favorite drink Now I'm on my 23rd bottle of Kitcho Hozan (lol) And I found a great sweet potato shochu. It's made by the same brewery as Kitcho Hozan, and is called "Angel's Temptation." It's so delicious The sweet potato flavor is gentle, which is unique to potato shochu, and the aftertaste is sweet like chocolate. They must have put a lot of care into how they use the rice koji It's true that a single glass costs about 1.5 times the price of Kitcho Hozan, but it's worth a drink I feel like I've discovered a new world of shochu. Please give it a try ”
